Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 28, 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember information about your visit, such as your login session or preferences, and help us understand how you use the Service.
We also use similar technologies such as local storage, pixels, and analytics tags that serve comparable purposes. This policy covers all of them.
2. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
Always onThese cookies are required for the Service to function. They include session authentication, CSRF protection, and remembering your theme preference. They cannot be disabled.
Examples: session token, theme preference (localStorage), auth state.
Analytics
Help us understand how visitors use iZop AI so we can improve navigation, performance, and the product. Data collected through these tools is aggregated and does not directly identify you.
Providers: Google Analytics (tracks page views and user flows; data may be transferred to Google's US servers under Standard Contractual Clauses) and Vercel Speed Insights (tracks Core Web Vitals and performance data).
Legal basis: your consent (for EEA/UK/Switzerland visitors) or legitimate interest (other regions).
Marketing
Used to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and to avoid showing the same advertisement repeatedly. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party cross-site tracking.
Legal basis: your consent.
3. Cookie duration
- Session cookies expire when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain for a defined period (from a few days up to 2 years depending on the provider) unless you delete them earlier.
- Your consent choice is stored in your browser's local storage and is valid for 12 months, after which we will ask again.
4. Google Consent Mode
We use Google Consent Mode v2. This means Google Analytics is loaded on all pages, but all tracking signals default to "denied" until you give consent. Once you accept analytics cookies, consent is updated to "granted" and Google Analytics begins collecting data. If you decline, no analytics data is sent.
5. Managing your preferences
You can review and update your cookie preferences at any time:
- Cookie banner:
- Footer link: Use the "Cookie Preferences" or "Do Not Sell or Share My Data" links in the footer of any page.
- Browser settings: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. See your browser's help for instructions (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
- Google Analytics opt-out: Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Disabling strictly necessary cookies or clearing local storage will log you out and may break core features.
6. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
Under California law, some use of analytics or marketing cookies may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell or share your personal information for behavioral advertising. You can opt out of any analytics or marketing cookies at any time by using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Data" link in the footer or by opening Cookie Preferences above.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the tools or technologies we use. We will post the updated version here and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify you via the cookie banner or by email.
